The 1970 440 engine was completely disassembled and inspected. Black was hot tanked and sent out for machining. It was bored .030 over and line honed. Deck height was checked- block was surfaced. Steel Crank was turned .010/.010 and polished. Rods were resized and ARP rod bolts installed. The rotating assembly was balanced. ARP polished stainless big block bolt kit was used- Grade 8 of course. Custom Smith Bros push rods. 1.6 ratio aluminum roller rockers from 440 Source. Mopar Performance valve covers polished- with custom paint. Block was painted red to match exterior car color. Every engine component detailed completely.
